Texts of Taste is a digital archive project which brings together annotated, nineteenth-century American recipes. The site is built using Omeka and makes use of Dublin Core metadata standards. The archive houses recipes from my personal collection as well as recipes digitized through institutional collections.
Coding the Bechdel test is a open-access coding tutorial developed for my graduate certificate in digital humanities. The project uses machine learning methodologies in Python to determine whether or not a novel passes the Bechdel Test
